What is Celiac Disease?

People with this disease have gluten intolerance. In these cases, their immune systems attack glutinous foods in the small intestines. This does collateral damage which can disrupt the intestine's ability to absorb nutrients, which causes afflicted people to be malnourished no matter the content or volume of their food intake. This damage done to the small intestine along with the nutrient absorption put sufferers at greater risk for developing colon cancer.
