| Arnica has been used for many years both internally and externally, research has raised serious concerns about its safety as an internal remedy. Arnica in such topical formulations as creams, gels, and ointments is extremely popula. |

Hi,
Im Dripple, a newcomer…..i’ve also heard that a prolonged use of it may cause skin irritation, eczema and peeling…..any info on that Michal? Used internally, it can cause dizziness, tremors and heart irregularities. It should be used only under the supervision of a professional _________________ Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. |

| It is true that using Arnica internally could cause the side effects that you cite as well as irritation to the mucous membrane. Externally, it is often used without any type of problem. If you were to experience any irritation or eczema, it is best to discontinue use of the product. These problems may also be caused by the carriers or other ingredients in the cream or lotion. One should not confuse whole herb and homeopathic preparations of Arnica. The homeopathic remedies are safer and very rarely associated with any side effects. |
