Not sure what I am trying to ask ..

My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer on tuesday. They think they have caught it early and though it is an invasive type they are confident that with a lumpectomy and radiotherapy that they should be able to remove it.

I have recently passed VTCT Indian Head and Body massage and want to know if it would be ok to treat her gently to help the healing process and her to relax etc.

Does anybody have any other advice re: diets, exercise other therapies or anything else that could help me help mum to fight and stay strong?

please

Read the cancer section of forums here at the GHC site. Also the e-book Transforming your Health in 90 days or less. There are some therapists that agree with massage with cancer and some who disagree.

Hello Jane,

Yes, to massages as this will make her lymphatic and blood circulatory system work properly. Make sure she does not wear any type of underwire bras as they are the ones which may cause cysts, lumps, tumors and / or cancers. Make sure she wears the proper fitted bra.

Good Luck

Joe
