I was diagnosed this week with a fatty liver after an ultrasound because of pain in my right upper front side and back. I had assumed it was my gallbladder. I'm removing fatty foods from my diet.

About six weeks ago, I did a liver cleanse following Dr. Hulda Clark's recipe, removing hundreds of small stones. This week, I did another cleanse. This time the stones were fewer but much larger, most larger than a green pea. I still have the pain. I found this forum while searching for answers. I really don't want to go to a GI if I can avoid it. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does a liver cleanse help improve a fatty liver?
2. If so, what could be going on if I'm still in pain?
3. How would you compare Dr. Clark's recipe with the GHC recipe?

Thank you.
