Hello all,
I built a zapper a few years ago and as a result of living on a sailboat for a year it has become corroded. I am attempting a new one. I can not find the part number I need at radio shack....it is the 8 pin wire wrapping socket . The part numbe supplied by the book is 276-988, which was changed to 900-7242. Now the 900-7242 is no longer in existence as far as I can tell. Can anyone help? Let me know if there is another part number or another place I can get the original one. Thank- you so much, life is not the same without my zapper.
take care

Kelly,
Following is a link that may help you to locate that hard-to-find part: www.positiveoffset.com/8-pin-wire-wrap-socket.htm. Best of luck! |
