My dad was a very big guy and still is; he is about 6'4 and weighs 255. I don't really know where to start as far as exercising and weight loss, I was hoping you guys could provide some help. Is any diet pills prescriptions will be help full for me.Please post any help you can, I'll try anything to cut of my weight, but if i lost 20 pounds even id be happy. Thanks.

Sodas were my problem too, I used to drink 4 or 5 a day (or more). I cut them out of my diet and the weight started to come off. If you are going the low-carb route, you will want to keep the juices to a minimum. Water is always good Smile Just a tip though... Get yourself a good multivitamin while you are on the first couple of phases of the low-carb diet.

I personally am not one to go to the gym. I hate exercising just to exercise. That is why I have picked up Tennis, and bike riding. If you have a bike, start there. Go out for a ride around your area every night either alone or with friends. If you need to pick up one or two things from the store ride your bike there (if its fairly close that is).

Let me tell you a VERY useful secret that not many people know. BE HAPPY! When people are happy, they have more energy, they are healthier, and they have a MUCH better outlook on life. If you cannot keep yourself happy, meet some happy people. The type of people that are fun to be around because they are energetic and easy to get along with, and won't be happy just sitting around watching TV.

I had a baby 10 months ago and although I lost most of the weight I gained I'm still hanging on to a few unwanted pounds.

I'm going to try a few cleansing programs and hope that works. One of the cleanses that I want to try, I can't do right now(breast feeding): Candida (Yeast) cleanse.

From what I understand if you have ever taken antibiotics, then you will have a yeast over-growth. That's why it's common to get a yeast infection while on them. An over-growth of yeast can cause you to be over-weight. That might be something you want to try.

But I would definetly stop the soda. It has Asorbic Acid which keeps your body from absorbing calcium. So you are probably defficient in calcium as well. Also, it is addictaive (as I'm sure you are aware!).

hope this helps
Cheers

I think you mean Phosphoric Acid, Ascorbic acid is vitamin C. And if you balance out the ratio of phosphorous to calcium it shouldn't be too much of a problem with your osteoperosis. As for your weight loss, I wouldn't reccomend them due to most of them just speed up your metabolism while you use them and once you get off them you gain it back on again. I also wouldn't try fad diets like low carb diets because some of them are misleading and dangerous, and don't try and lose more than 2 pounds a week. If you lose anymore than that it will probably be water weight or lean muscle mass. Basically if you want to lose 20 pounds first of all just make simple lifestlye changes try some of these tips

1. Replace your soda with water (water is an appetite supressant drink also when you crave sweets.

2. stay away or limmit your sugar intake

3. try to reduce or eliminate your intake of butter. this can be very effective and you could start losing a couple punds a week just by doing this.

4.I would reccomend walking everyday for at least 20 minutes, very good exercise, low impact and has incredible weight loss if you increase your rate everyday

5.Stay away from those juices, unless their made directly from you with a juice machine, it almost always has added sugars and unwanted ingredients that really make you fat (high fructose corn syrup)

6. try some negative calorie foods like carrots, grapes and celery between meals or when you get hungry, and ideally eat 5-6 meals a day.

7.You should eat a very big breakfast, 80 percent of people overweight eat a small breakfast or non at all, the most important meal of the day never skip it!

8.Always make your breakfast the lightest meal of the day.

9. Try to reduce or eliminate eating after 6, do this the best you can, but it has amazing benifets if you do.

10. ideally try to get to bed before 10 and up arounds 7, many diseases and obesity has been linked to poor sleaping habbits because your healing hormanes are put out between 10 and 2, and if you don't sleep at night it could mess up your cyradian (I dont think I spelled that right) rythym and cause all sorts of problems.

11. If none of these work try taking a metabolic test and that should tell you around what foods to eat and what to avoid.

Basically if you cant lose weight after this maybe seek a dietician, although these are pretty good things to start with, Im only 16 and im sure others could reccomend or help you lose a lot better than anyone here. well, I hope I helped you let me know if you lose any weight

If you have a place that sells Organic stuff get Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil. I just read about this and if you take 1 tablespoon in the morning and 1 tablespoon in the evening for 30 days. This is a weight loss secret that the FTC and FDA don't want you to know about.
