Hi, sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but:

I was on Prevacid in the Army for 2 years, and since my discharge, have not had medical, hence, have not had Prevacid...

While on Prevacid, I had ZERO problems, I hardly even remembered I had Acid Reflux...

After my Prevacid ran out, my Acid Reflux came back, this time with Avengenance... Like twice as bad as before I took it... I thought I was having a heart attack a few times... Im convinced the "Awesome cure" was a disabling problem... Anybody have similar issues / any ideas to keep my esophagus from going up in flames??? Thanks

The best home remedy for acid reflux is to take 1 tablespoon of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in 4 ounces of water at the first sign of symptoms. Also the product IntraCal works well and is all natural with 0 side effects.

I used to suffer terribly from this but since I started follwoing a low carb eating plan it has completely disappeared. Try cutting out bread, rice, pasta and potatoes for a week or so, and if it helps, bring them back one at a time to find out what is causing it for you. White bread is a really bad trigger for me, so I think maybe I had some undiagnosed gluten intolerance that was causing the reflux.
Cured my migraine headaches too!

HI BE CAREFUL WITH USING VINEGAR IT DAMAGES THE TOOTH ENAMEL, IF YOU DECIDE TO USE IT RINSE YOUR MOUTH WITH BAKING SODA TO NEUTRALIZE THE ACID IN YOUR MOUTH, ALSO DONT BRUSH TO HARD AFTER UISNG VINEGAR SINCE IT CAN CAUSE MORE DAMAGE

BY THE WAY I AM ON 2 NEXIUMS A DAY FOR ACID REFLUX AND I TELL YA WHEN YOU STOP THESE MEDS THEY DO COME BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, BUT I HAVE NOTICED THAT OXYPOWDER WORKS SUPER FOR ACID, WHY DONT YOU TRY OVER THE COUNTER PRILOSEC OTC AND A FEW CAPSULES OF OXYPOWDER A DAY? I STARTED USING IT FOR A FEW DAYS AND I NOTICE TEH ACID IS NOT BAD AT ALL, TRY IT IT ALSO HELPS GAS, I GET TONS FROM THE NEXIUM, ALSO GO TO WWW.HEALTHBOARDS.COM AND CHECK THE ACID REFLUX BOARD THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL THERE AND DISCUSS ALL THESE SUBJECTS ON ACID REFLUX GOOD LUCK
