hallo, my husband was diagnosed last year with stage 3 (metastatic) melanoma and we were really shaken by this. We went over to visit friends in Donegal in Ireland for a short holiday to recover after Marks surgery and treatment and while there decided to stock up on the local seaweed, dulse, which we`d been eating lots of at home. Well after a visit to a local man who `does nice seaweed` and a bit of a chat with him we came away with a car-load of 5 types of edible seaweeds and a new business! Both of us will swear that eating some seaweed, just a little every other day even, has made a difference to Marks health, aswell as my own. He was suffering dreadfully with lymphodema (swelling due to fluid gathering) in his sides where lymph nodes were removed, and this has definately eased. His hair, nails and skin, and my own, are growing healthy and strong. The last scans were clear, although with this cancer it is almost impossible to detect, however I am convinced that including lots of seaweed in our everyday eating has made him stronger and more resilliant to other illnesses, and even the cancer.
I can`t deny that the very best medicine is, as always, optimism and a cheerful aspsect!

Seaweed is great, also if you do PH balancing through Celtic Sea Salt. Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that's how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you. For Melanoma and other skin cancers, black salve works the best from what we have seen.
