Dear Dr. Group,
I cannot adequately express my thanks for your fantastic oxy-powder. What a terrific product. I am telling all my friends and all the health proffessional I know about it. I have one suggestion I would like your comment on. As some heavy metals, especially mercury, concentrate in the gut, should you recommend that clients take some form of bentonite along with oxy-powder to absorb the toxins and keep them from being reabsorbed? Take a look at azomite as a product, and the studies on chelation with cilantro that recommend clay intake.
Also, I am on my third week over a 2 month period of taking 10-12 tablets a night. I still see flakes in the john suggesting that I keep going on the heavy dose. The first time I took 12, even though I had done 10 for 2 different weeks, I had some 2” disgusting looking flakes come out. I am thinking I will do 12 for 5 days on a 2-3 week interval. Your feedback would be great. Thanks, lee |

I have the same concerns and would appreciate an answer on this.
Several years ago I was toxic with mercury poisoning. I had my amalgams replaced with composite by a mercury-free dentist. Before and after the procedure he had me consume large doses of activated charcoal to absorb any material that got past the dental dam.
I'm much in favor of the removal of years of accumulated impacted fecal matter, but also concerned about the possible reabsorbtion of mercury and other toxins that likely remain lodged in my digestive tract.
While cleansing with Oxy-powder should I be consuming bentonite? Activated charcoal? Or would the highly absorbent properties of such substances potentially counteract the oxidating effects of Oxy-powder. Charcoal, in particular, is excellent for taking on a gassy stomach.
Thank you for your prompt response. |

I would also like to know this-- Dr';s, can ya give us an answer on this?
I have some Bentonite Clay suspended in liquid and am afraid to use it while on the Oxy cleanse- in case it interferes.
I also had 8 amalgams replaced last year -and figure I still have residual mercury still in my system that hasnt been chelated out yet. |

I have spoken to a few people that have used bentonite/psyllium shakes while performing a cleanse with Oxy-Powder. They did not feel that the mixture interfered with the process; however, it is arguable that it could potentially coat the intestinal walls and form a layer over the compaction itself. I am not aware of anyone that has performed any type of empirical study using a combination of bentonite and an oxygen-based colon cleanser.
It is possible that you may still have some mercury left, but there are other supplements that you can take beside the bentonite clay. Some of the more popular ones include Medicardium (EDTA suppository), R-alpha Lipoic acid (German source, yellow in color), Heavy Metal Nano Detox from Premier Research labs, or possibly one of the more recent Denali Zeolite compounds. These last are fairly recent on the market, but I have heard some favorable comments from a few practitioners. I would highly recommend using a probiotic such as Latero-flora during any heavy metal Detox as these metals can dramatically affect the beneficial bacteria in the bowel. Once you have completed the colon cleanse, you may also want to perform a liver/gallbladder flush as well. |
