Some simple products one can use to drmatically reduce their pimples are: facewash and moisturizer. Wash your face 2-3 times daily and apply the moisturizer after to keep the skin moist. Keeping the skin moist, will reduce the amount of oil production.

I would also add that keeping your face moisturized and not stripping away natural oils makes all the difference. I've been using harsh products for years and it wasn't until I started using an oil-based serum that my acne straightened out and the scars started to heal. And I've had bad acne since I was 13!

I used to suffer terribly with acne in my teens.
I tried all sorts of harsh treatments over the
years and my skin ended up like knackered
tights!
Only when I stopped continually washing my
face , stopped the harsh treatments, and all
the face packs etc ...my skin cleared up all
by itself
My daughter has had a bit of acne trouble
but since she started eating lots more fresh
organic veggies ( we are vegetarian ) and
drinking lots of fresh bottled mineral water,
her skin has improved enormously.
I think you have to be kind to your skin on
the outside - that is, no harsh chemical
cleansers - in fact we only wash with chemical-
free shower gels, shampoos etc now so I
think that has helped also.
My daughter also bought a little cloth
called skinvac, which cleanses your skin
by gripping the spots and literally lifting them
out of pores! It's amazing, and you only use
water with it, so once again, no harsh
cleansers.
I really sympathise with anyone who suffers
with acne, as I know exactly how upsetting
it can be . In my teens it got to the point
where my whole state of happiness revolved
around how good or bad my skin was that day.
Hope this is of some use _________________ debidoo

You have really hit on the foundation of good skin health. The skin is the largest organ in the body and one through which many toxins are eliminated. The more toxins that we consume through our diets and apply directly to the skin the more work our body must do to eliminate them. It is wonderful that you are able to pass on the benefit of your experience to your daughter and that she is developing good habits that can help her live a healthier life.

Thanks very much, I really think the old fashioned ways are the best - good diet, lots of fresh air, exercise, lots of fresh water etc - it's what people did years ago.
I certainly don't think that applying chemical based acne creams and lotions can be good for anybody's skin. As you say, it's more toxins that the body has to deal with, and I think we get enough of those anyway !
Have a great day ! _________________ debidoo
