This tasty burger, packed with lots of nutrition is a wonderful example of how great - meatless - burgers can be!
Ingredients Needed:
In a medium bowl, mash or puree the kidney beans (with a little water, if necessary) to a coarse paste, add the shallot, hazelnuts, ginger, cayenne pepper, soy sauce, bread crumbs, and flour, and mix well.
Season and shape into 4 flat burgers. Brush the burgers with oil and grill over hot embers. Alternately, fry the burgers in hot oil. Serve on a toasted bun (two slices of whole grain bread) with all the usual burger trimmings.
