- There are over 240 different species of Aloe
- Aloe Vera grows all over the world in dry regions such as Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
- Aloe Vera is a member of the Lily Family but has a very cactus like appearance.
- There are four species that lead the group in having nutritional value. The leading species is Aloe Barbadensis Miller
