And guess what? Lemongrass oil has another name, cymbopogon citrates, or citronella. I told you-it's all over the place. The essential oils are part of the citronella candles formula, and citronella is also in soaps and perfumes because of its soothing properties.

BONUS Use for Lemongrass

I'll add a BONUS here because I think that this needs to be included. Lemon grass essential oil is really effective as a topical skin application. Lemongrass oil can be used effectively to tone skin because of its ability to dilate blood vessels and tightening pores and wrinkles. Lemongrass oil can help clear your skin of excessive oil and thereby reduce your outbreaks of acne.
